So a bit of news that goes along with my site updates... I think this is going to be my last Things I love Thursday. But! Before you get sad - let me explain :) After thinking it over for a few months, I've decided I'd like to move on from the title of the original "Things I love Thursday", and instead share my own kind of weekly letters to you guys and drawings of what I'm happy about/interested in at the moment. I'm really enjoying tumblr too and I plan on continuing to include my tumblr favorites in these kinds of posts. Still waffling on the title, but I should have it squared away by next week. These posts will also might be coming on a different day since I never really enjoyed being forced to do them on Thursdays... I guess just consider them a 2.0 version of my typical TILTs but new title and new day :D Stay tuned for more info!!

NYX glitter liners and 6%dokidoki "Swirling Pannier" - These are two items I've let myself buy recently... I picked up an Urban Decay purple glitter liner from work a few weeks ago and was kinda disappointed with it. It looked so pretty in the tube, but was actually not cute on my eyes and burned while drying!! :( Since that didn't work out, I decided to try out a cheaper brand called NYX who also had a range of glitter liners, and I am so in love! These don't hurt at all when applied, and apply a lot thicker and prettier! My only complaint is they take a little longer to dry - but for how inexpensive and pretty they are, I don't mind. :) The "Swirling Pannier" skirt hasn't arrived in the mail yet, but I'm anxiously awaiting the day it does! (I ordered it from Electric Alice if you are curious - which is an awesome site filled with super cute clothing and accessories.) It was one of the 6%dokidoki items I really wanted on my LA trip but wasn't able to purchase. The cotton candy perfume... I haven't bought. It is something I put on every time I work at Ulta though! I am hoping to buy it maybe at the end of the month - it is such a fun scent - you can see it here!

Glow stick wands, giant hair buns and Emma <3 So lately I've been wearing my hair in giant hair buns a lot, which is something I've tried off and on over the years but hadn't really figured out how to properly do until my LA trip. I had my hair styled that way for the 6% show, and then friends out there explained tips and tricks to make my hair buns fuller and nicer - and ta da! Now I've been able to do it on almost a daily basis :D I wore my hair like this when I went out the other night with Emma at Flux... Speaking of Flux - I'll be posting on that in a day or so, but it was a night time art event that focused on light based installations! They gave out glow sticks at the event, and I put one inside of a glow stick wand I had stashed in my purse - so fun!! And Emma - I'm so happy her and I have reconnected over the past few months. We used to be best friends a few years ago, but due to a mishap with our friendships I ended up having a falling out with her. Recently, Emma and I found each other again and quickly re-bonded like we never stopped being friends - and it makes me so happy!! I've missed her so much and feel incredibly lucky to be friends with her again. Life can be pretty awesome with surprises like that!
Scheming up Halloween costumes and just getting excited about Halloween in general... Oh man - I'm not sure what I'm going to be yet, but a few ideas I've been tossing around: Tickled Pink costume from Rainbow Bright, Princess Bubblegum costume from Adventure time (and I'd get my boyfriend to be Finn!), Katy Perry costume from her California Gurls video (which I think would be hilarious cute, but I am pretty sure a lot of people would want to punch me! SO many people hate Katy Perry that I know! haha eeek), and last but not least - Chibiusa costume from Sailor Moon SuperS. I have too many ideas!!
Daydreaming about Disney for the Winter Holidays - Too soon?? It sounds like my boyfriend, myself, Emma and her boyfriend are all going to go to Disney World together for the December holidays!! I plan on visiting the Magic Kingdom mostly, and then hopping over to Islands of Adventure for the Harry Potter and Jurassic Park sections!! I'm so excited - I haven't been to Disney in over 10 years, and I've never been to Islands of Adventure!! We wont be there for very long though, so I'm kinda over planning excitedly right now so I can make sure I fit as much stuff in as possible. Eeee!

Those are the main things on my brain lately. Life has been very good even though I'm super busy and had a cold for a while. I'm very grateful for all the love I've been experiencing from my friends, family, boyfriend and even my little dog, Pika! I can't stop hugging Pika lately, she is the sweetest!!
