Lets see... things that have been going on: I got a little hair cut - first one in a year and half! I was excited my stylist still remembered me :) I also went thrifting with my cousin and found a nice little blue espresso cup and saucer, and my art show was Saturday evening... that went pretty good. Saw lots of friends which was very nice :D Also, Chris came home from his San Francisco work trip which makes me super happy... <3 On top of all that I've had a good bit of work lately - so very busy weekend! But I thought I'd take a break from working on freelance and do a WIWT illustration - It's been a while since I last did one!
This is actually what I wore on Saturday to thrifting. Its been interesting trying to figure out clothing color options with my new hair - so far I seem to like everything better with the red vs the pink and black! :) For fun I thought I'd also show you guys the sketch I did to plan my WIWT doodle... Typically I plan these out over eating lunch or a snack so they don't take so long on the computer. Plus its nice to draw on paper every now and again instead of always using the computer.
I haven't been doing much personal art lately because I've been really tired in between my full time job and my freelance work... But I really have been wanting to draw little heart locks, bats, red pandas, girly things... I have so many ideas but not enough time! Ah well. I tried to scribble some of them out on the computer - for some reason I keep thinking I want a tattoo of a heart lock and key so I've been trying to sketch out my ideas... I don't think I'll end up getting it - but I imagine it could look very pretty if done well!
