I had such an amazing day today! It didn't start out very good - internet kept going in and out at work and lots of rushed edits... but the day progressively became better! I had some really nice conversations with people, learned a lot on lynda.com (hooray!), worked a bit on a Twilight doodle I'll have later this week (oh boy), and then I came home to mail!
I loooove getting mail! The things that arrived in the post:
A little tiger bell! I found out about cute Chinese zodiac bells via Amalie's post. I have been wanting to pick up a little "good luck memento" to keep on my desk for 2010 since I'm expecting it to be a pretty life-changing year - and I thought what better than a cute little 2010 tiger! He is so tiny and makes a cute little tink sound when you shake him <3
This amazing bear scarf! I saw it in Twinkie Chan's photos and really loved it. She told me it came from etsy seller rosaleendhu, and I was able to get one of my own! I'm wearing it right now :B
And my last package was more ring bases - very exciting! Now I can make more rings for you guys :) And hopefully tomorrow I'll be finishing my ornaments to put on Etsy. Here is a sneak peak at one:
He is a little kitten name Creamsicle! His face and hanging strap are glitter felt - its so cute in person! I can't wait to show you guys the rest.
And here is one more fun photo - this Sunday my mother brought me 5 huge containers filled with holiday stuff she has saved from over the years - and inside I found one of my favorite childhood toys:
A little plush deer - ahh so cute! I can't believe how well its held up over the years, it has to be atleast 20 years old. I love finding old toys to add back to my collection <3
