The show went really well - a lot of my family came out and a few unexpected friends. I ended up meeting one of my neighbors through the show too - he was friends with the other artist showing (Travis Smith aka Mr. Purty!). So that was super neat - plus we went out and got drinks with a lot of the people afterwords to celebrate, and my mother gave me a lovely bouquet of sunflowers and roses. Oh! And my cousin Chad drove all the way from Alabama to come see the show - so crazy! He is sweet. Such a A+ night - photos here! I've been be real busy with caricature illustrations for work, which doesn't leave me a lot of time for personal doodles - but here is one I managed to squeeze out this week. A hula hooper girl!! :D I'm looking forwarded to finishing this later this week. More tomorrow!
