So watching all these make up video tutorials on youtube has really been getting me excited about video and the possibilities... I've been kinda exploring it since my last video - and I ended up making two new ones this past week.

One of them is a in-depth discussion/video capture of a painting I just completed. I'll be sharing that on Thursday! <3

The other is the ridiculousness above. A friend asked me if I would do a video showing her my bicycle... I got really excited, ran outside with my bicycle and just began filming! And in all the excitement - I locked myself outside of my house!:( in 50 degree weather! brrrr. I almost went out with no shoes on too - so dumb. (Luckily my boyfriend came home within an hour.) Atleast I had fun!

So enjoy! Let me know if you have any ideas of things I should video tape - I'm really having fun with this and want to get better at it!

I've been a busy busy bee this week! eek! I'm sorry its been quiet - and not even a Things I love Thursday post...! I can't share photos just yet of the things that have been occupying my time, but I will try to make up for it next week ;)

Outside my blog - I have been updating my Twitter tons! It has been easier to use while I'm working on my design and painting stuff. So if you haven't already...

Also this week I threw together a little business card for myself to test on Moo.com - I'm so excited!

They should be arriving in a few days... When they get here I'll let you know how the quality is. If all goes well, I might order some postcards to sell on my etsy...!

Happy Friday!

On our last trip to San Francisco, I drew a whoooole lot of cute inspiring girls in my sketchbook... None of them I knew - just random gals I saw while exploring the city. I think I stopped like 20 times in one day going, "!!!!!!! That girl is SO cool, I gotta draw her real quick before I forget!", which led to a ton of spontaneous random doodles. I always feel so inspired when people watching in that city!

Anyhow - I just got around to taking some pictures of some of these doodles (I drew them in Carmine Red which wasn't scanning nicely) and I hope you enjoy!

100th post!! + my addictions

Holy cow! Can you believe its been a year since I started blogging annnd I've made 100 posts now?! Time flies! This year I hope to at least double that number and bring lots of good little blogtastic posts, videos and doodles to all of you!! I feel like I've made a lot of progress through using this blog, and I hope to continue to grow and keep sharing while I work towards my goals!

Recently the lovely MChen and Jessica Gonacha both tagged me to list 5 of my harmless addictions and to pick 5 people to list theirs as well...So!

Five things I love and am addicted to:

1. Naps! I'm a huge fan of taking little cat naps. I require a lot of sleep, but I also like waking up early and often stay up too late - so naps are my hero!
2. Video phases...I don't really watch television or youtube, but every now and again I'll go through a phase where I really like something and can't stop watching it - sometimes I'll watch several episodes in a row like a mini marathon! Lately it has been NCIS (I adore Abby!!) and Panacea81's make up tutorials.
3. Comic books/graphic novels! I'm super geektastic for them! I also have major love for illustration art books. I really like to go sit in book stores and quietly peek at them for hours.
4. MAIL! Oh my goodness, I love getting mail. I really like sending it out too but I'm awful about getting to the post office, and always feel like I must put together these ridiculous grand packages! Sometimes I like to paint the outside of mail I'm sending too.
5. Dying/cutting/changing my hair! It such a bad addiction of mine. Every 2-3 months the urge to change up my hair or color it creeps in! Thus, I've had tons of different hair styles, and have colored my hair waaay too much. But it brings me lots of joy, whee!

1. Cuckoo watch by Hannes Grebin - Unfortunately, this is just a concept design... but I think it is really great! I wish this was available, I've been trying to find a fun, interesting sort of watch for a while now.
2. BFF mini series by Kid Robot - eeee! This reminds me of my favorite hoodie from Loyal Army. I'm a sucker for little faces on cute foods.
3. Teeny tiny letters by the World's Smallest Postal Service - AMAZING!! I really want to have one made - go watch the video on their site!

5. Watchmen Watchmen Watchmen!!! So good. I want to see it again, but I think I will wait till it comes out on video...I'm really loving the fictional flickr gallery they made too.
6. Atomic pink hair dye by Special Effects - I just dyed my hair pink, its been a while since I've used that color... and I'm so giddy about it!
7. J'aime & I - I cannot stop listening to their new songs! My favorite is "No you first".
