Ridiculousness that has been going on as of late:
- I have been re-learning flash and animating over this weekend and last - I'm hoping some awesomeness will come of this! We shall see... The above is a quick doodle I did today at class! I forgot how fun flash can be. I feel like a little kid. :B
- I bought a cintiq ! My desk is now officially too small and is looking very silly. For those who don't know what a cintiq is, its basically a flat screen monitor you can draw on like a tablet...Link! And for those who are curious on how it performs - its so super buttery smooth drool worthy. No lag at all, flows amazingly, makes working very speedy, and is very easy to use! For a while I questioned how good it would be vs cost, but its definitely worth every penny. My only complaints: If you have an iMac, you will need a converter cable - which isn't too bad really but now I have all these crazy wires to deal with. That and it dirtys up veeerrryy easily. I am cleaning it constantly! I figure its a fair trade off though for the ease of making digital illustrations quickly.
I'm currently re-arranging my studio to better fit all my crap now - so I'll probably share photos of that when its all put back together. Till then, look at this fun postcard I got while picking up gel medium! I was trying to imitate it, but I think the only thing showing up is my intense lack of sleep. Eye baggage galore! I need 10,000 naps.
