Tested out iMovie today and made a quick little movie from some clips we took in Paris. A little of the eiffel tower, rollerblading critical mass and some Tour de France.

Back story: Before the video, Chris lead me on a secret walk during our first night in Paris, and didn't tell me where we were going. After 20ish minutes, I spotted the Eiffel Tower in its current blue glitteryness and was super shocked and emotional/excited - thus the whiney San voice. He is a sweet boy and it was a nice surprise :)

Photo recap of the week

The bicyclette was promptly decorated this Monday for the upcoming Holidays.

Went on a mini road trip to south Georgia for Thanksgiving. We ended up having 3 Thanksgivings! One at a friend's loft earlier in the week, one with my family and then one with Chris' family. I was a little nervous since these would be my first thanksgivings as a vegetarian, but the dinners went great! :)

Oh - and I finally got an iMac! I had been wanting one for a while, as part of my goals. We got up at 8 am on Black Friday, went out - bought it - and came right back home ! I have never shopped on Black Friday before, but it was dead in the mac store and I was in and out of there faster than a regular day. (Faaantastic!) Of course, some ridiculous photobooth pictures were in order...

Wrapped up the Holiday week by going out to the Castleberry Hill Art Stroll with a few friends. Not much was open due to rain/holidays, and nobody was really out but there were two shows I really liked. The above was Timothy Van Beke at Art House Gallery. You can see more at my flickr.

Catwoman art for Eyedrum gallery

Just finished wrapping up the final details on my newest piece. It is for the Golden Age Comics show at Eyedrum Gallery here in Atlanta. It is 11x17", acrylic, ink and transfers on wood. I'll try to take some up close shots before I drop it off on Monday so you can see better detail. I had a lot of fun with this one!

I'll post more info about the show when I have it...

I'm off to go zonk out to sleepland - it is sooo late here - eep! Here is a quick little shot of the back - I tried to keep it in theme rather than just signing my name all boring like!

Sunday morning thoughts

A little list of things I was enjoying thinking about this past Sunday morning.

1. Oui or Non necklacefrom Vento na Paria- I purchased this a while back along with another necklace from this store, and I loooove it. Its so pretty.

2. Flower clasp lariat scarf from Coccole di Lana - want! I love how unusual and soft this looks, and its in one of my favorite colors.  

3. Paper butterfly wreath from Royal Buffet- check out their etsy for more gorgeous handmade paper items.

4. Re-wool purse from Queen Bee - Adorable tote made from "re-wool", which according to Queen Bee's site is "a beautiful and sturdy felted wool, composed of scraps left over from textile mills."

5. Lavender and clary sage hair powder from Lulu Organics - I bet this would be awesome to spruce up with after a bicycle ride. I really want some!

6. Hoodie Scarf from Little Houses - Made to order hoodie/scarf combo - I have a scarf of similar construction and it is the best - I recommend this to all! Also in her etsy store is more cute handmade clothes - and Little Houses has a fun blog too. Check it out!
